I had this old spice rack in my “stash” for a long time. When I found these old, unusable metal spice tins I immediately thought of the spice rack and the fruit of the Spirit passage from Galatians 5:22. I have used vintage paper, old handwritten letters, tea bags, and letter stamps to decorate the spice tins.

My alternative title to this piece is “What the World Needs Now.” Galatians 5:25 says, “Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.” May it be so as we seek to be salt and light in this world.
