The Great Reversal is a piece I originally designed for a presentation on the story of the Rich Man and Lazarus from Luke 16:19-31. The images are ambigrams, images that reveal different images when turned upside down. In Jesus’ story, one man had wealth, the other poverty, but in the end, because the rich man failed to care about the poor man, the roles were reversed. There is a literal transformation in the image, which like Jesus story calls for a change of heart.
