Oil pastel, Ink and colored pencils
These three paintings – Transformation – reflect the mystery of growth in the Kingdom of Heaven. Each work draws from Colossians 2:7, “Rooted and built up in Christ, established in faith, and overflowing with gratitude.” The roots represent our search for God, reaching deep into the soil of faith. The trees rise as living testaments to perseverance, bearing leaves and fruit in their appointed seasons. The river symbolizes the ceaseless flow of the Holy Spirit; gratitude made visible, ever moving, ever renewing. Together, they speak of divine rhythm: unseen foundations, visible growth, and eternal movement. Through these images, I explore how faith, like nature, deepens, expands, and flows outward in praise to the Creator who gives life to all.
