A high contrast photograph taken on film was developed into slides then projected onto the paper where I outlined the shapes lightly in pencil. Then, without projection, using charcoal pencils and sticks I filled in the shapes. Concept- self portrait depicting the nature of self as having both light of God and darkness of separation from God.
