This painting is inspired by the opening lyrics of “If You Love Me” by Northwest Stories and it also reminded me of John 1:1–5 .

It is an invitation to trust—the kind of trust that steps forward before the path is clear. Light does not chase away all the darkness—it guides through it. This is not a painting of certainty, but of presence, of movement, of trust.
