This piece is based on Matthew 2 and the account of the Magi seeing and following the star that would lead them to Jesus. It was originally done during our Christmas celebration, but I think it fits perfectly for this “Transformation” exhibit. My thought process was to depict the formulation of the star that would lead the Magi. It had to be a special creation and a star like no other. This is my reimagining elements being transformed and coming together to signify the Savior is here!
