Coming Into Focus

Amy Hui

ink, pencil

Each drawing reflects a different moment in learning to see and accept myself—not as a fixed image, but as someone still forming. One drawing holds that sense of becoming, where wholeness is emerging through looseness and uncertainty. The other moves toward clarity and boldness—embracing imperfection rather than hiding it.

Together, they hold the tension between becoming and being seen. Between who I am forming into and my willingness to receive it.

This work reflects what it means to come into focus—not by becoming perfect, but by learning to receive myself as I am, still forming.
