Today’s Reflection

I took this submission on as a challenge because I don’t usually paint people.  In looking at the finished piece, I see:

• the mouth is too big, but IRL my mouth sometimes gets me in trouble.
• the nose started out OK, but then didn’t finish well, likewise, I often start out well, but don’t finish or don’t live up to expectations.
• the glasses and eyes worked, and I find I often ‘hide’ behind my glasses when meeting new people or when in large groups.

The overall feeling, or reflection, is that I am still very much a work in progress.
