EL ROI: The God that Sees Me

Genesis 16:13 NIV
“She gave this name to the Lord who spoke to her: ‘You are the God who sees me,’ for she said, ‘I have now seen the One who sees me.’ ”

I believe most humans grapple with seasons where they feel misunderstood, ignored, or not seen. When I find myself in these seasons, God gently reaches down and holds my hand. He reassures me of my identity and although I can’t always see where the future is taking me, I know He sees me, understands me, and has a plan and purpose for that me that is good. His love has transformative power that helps me to see myself more clearly again.
