Graves turn to Gardens

Cynthia Stroup

Acrylic

This painting captures the awakening of new life within, that first breath when your spirit greets the living God. The idea came to me after a Sunday sermon, echoing a decision I made long ago. The memory of that transformation remains vivid in my heart and mind. It felt like stumbling out of a tangled, shadowy forest where fear and despair lurked, only to be suddenly swept up by beauty, light, and wonder. Even after all these years, my heart still wanders in a vibrant garden bursting with blossoms and dappled with gentle shade. Sunlight spills across the scene, uncovering hidden marvels and infusing my life and days with meaning, purpose, and direction. When I feel lost or in the dark…all I have to do is seek the light. Hugs, Cynthia
